We are lucky to have Gemelli's in our area. This Italian Market/ takeout is doing most everything right. The market portion is WELL-stocked with Italian imported items as reasonable prices. Any of the foods I've had from the cafe portion are truly delicious. From their Italian (obviously) sub, to their eggplant parm sandwich. They also have some killer pizza there as well. I often bump into someone I know at Gemelli's because... I know a lot of people who know good food. It's a LITTLE hidden near the Kentlands/ Quince Orchard. But it's worth searching out. I really should go there more often. Shouldn't take for granted that I'm so close.

Excellent Siciliano on soft roll. My kids got Italian with no peppers and a Chicken Parm, they liked it. Gotta love the Sprecher Root Beer, too! Recommended :)

This place is really delicious. I had a meatball sub that was really good, the person across from me ordered a pizza that looked delicious. I had gelato for dessert, and they had a lot of interesting grocery and to go items. There is seating both outside and inside.

Second time trying their food, first time for pizza. Definitely will NOT be the last! Boyfriend tried the Diavola, I had the pepperoni special, add Calabrian Chiles. Absolutely yum! The flavors of the Chiles with the pepperoni and fresh mozzarella were *chefs kiss*. Glad to have this place as a very nearby takeout and shopping option!

The best experience of little Italy we have in MoCo. Try the sandwiches and the pizza; they are unbelievably good. My personal favorite sandwiches are the Milano and Di Parma. If you like crunchy bread, pay the $0.75 for the hard roll. Otherwise, the soft roll is just as good and may be better for your jaw. Nom nom nom!

Definitely my go-to place for subs especially the meatball. This time I tried it with the rustic roll and I love the bread. However, since its a little harder, made eating a meatball sub pretty messy since everything was squirting out the bread...have a stash of napkins ready.

Family favorite!!! We love it all. This go around we grabbed some meatball subs, siciliano subs, rosmarino sub, margarita pizza, an assortment of cakes, fresh fettuccine for dinner later, and frozen eggplant parmigiana for later in the week.

From their loaded subs to their homemade meatballs and marinara, Gemelli's Italian Market is a true delight. I ordered the Porchetta hot sub, a savory masterpiece of slow-roasted pork, sweet caramelized balsamic onions, and provolone cheese. While delicious, a side of pickles would have added the perfect touch of acidity. Note to self: ask for hot peppers next time! My husband ordered the Siciliano cold sub, a symphony of spicy sopressata, hot capicola, mortadella, provolone cheese, roasted red peppers, hot peppers, and basil. It was not only a feast for the taste buds but also a visual delight. Although I couldn't fit in another sub, I couldn't resist trying the homemade meatballs and marinara. Tender and flavorful, they paired perfectly with dipping my porchetta sandwich. Highly recommend! While waiting for our order, we explored the market's diverse selection of fresh pastas, sauces, cheese, meats, wines, and confections. Gemelli's truly offers a culinary experience beyond compare. And let's not forget their pizza - a favorite with its thin crust that's just right. In conclusion, Gemelli's Italian Market is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian flavors in Gaithersburg. Just make sure you're not allergic to gluten - it's a gluten lover's paradise!

For lunch today, ordered a Manzo sandwich on seven grain bread and a chicken parm on the soft roll. The chicken parm was a nice piece of moist chicken breast covered with a good amount of stretchy cheese and a tasty tomato sauce. I really liked the sauce, which seemed traditional in terms of herbs and spices. Delicious. The Manzo was also delicious, according to my partner. (Ok, I did have one bite of Manzo). We enjoyed the sandwiches with a couple of bottles of water purchased there in a small. comfortable seating area in the front of the store. The food was so good we went to the freezer and purchased an eggplant parm dish (one pound casserole - $10) which we look forward to in a couple of days.
